Principal Architect

Vichayuth Meenaphant is the founder and Principal of VMA, architecture and design research practice based in Bangkok. Vichayuth holds a Masters in Architecture from the Architectural Association School in London, UK (AADRL). Prior to founding VMA design studio, he practised internationally in London and Shanghai as a designer for Heatherwick Studio. Vichayuth is a registered architect in Thailand and an award winning designer, recipient of the Holcim foundation Award as well as the Association of Siamese Architects Prize.

  • Interior Design Director

    Nokyoong is a partner and the interior design director at VMA. She brings a wealth of experience from her freelance work with top Bangkok real estate firms like Sansiri, SC-Asset, Pruksa, and Ananda Development. Before joining VMA, she co-founded BREATH, an interior design company, and ChingChaChalee Cafe, a stylish eatery on Ekamai Road. In addition to her role at VMA, Nokyoong has launched her own line of designer furniture, emphasizing local, renewable, and sustainable materials.

  • Project Architect / Interior Designer

    Proud, our lead designer, holds a deep appreciation for Japanese art, culture, and food. Entrusted to steer projects alongside our design directors, her dedication smooths the journey from concept to completion. When she isn't working on a creative project at the studio, she's probably out capturing charming cat pictures for her Instagram followers. Weekends are a whirl of events for her, yet come Monday, she's recharged and ready. Her fresh experiences continually fuel our innovative design solutions.

  • Interior Designer

    Yuki is our talented interior designer with a specialty in visualizations and a great interest in modern minimalist design. Her strong work ethic, rooted in her Thai-Japanese heritage, elevates our designs while her happy, positive vibe brightens our team spirit. And when lunchtime rolls around, her homemade obento never fails to make us all envious.

  • Architect

    Pangmee, our junior architect from the serene city of Phuket, brings a keen eye for design along with a tidal wave of positivity. Her kindness, hardworking attitude, and collaborative spirit foster a harmonious team dynamic. Outside of the drawing board, she loves finding fresh new cafes and has an interest in baking as well.

  • Architect

    Boom, our steady and detail-oriented architect, brings strong technical expertise to the team. Though naturally reserved, his quiet focus and sense of responsibility make him a dependable force in every project. Outside the studio, he enjoys music, home-cooked meals, and slow, easy drives — a calm counterbalance to the fast pace of design life.

  • Product Manager

    Peemai is one of the studio's original members. He is in charge of our ‘VMA Home’ product design line and digital marketing. He also has a double identity as a cabin crew who travels the globe looking for innovative products and ideas to enrich our work.
